After one year in Portland and many strategy sessions later, our cozy little home is finally coming together. Decorating your home when your husband is a rad photographer always makes things easier! I’m loving how his image of a hike from our first vacation to Hawaii compliments our living room.

As music lovers, our record collection really is the focal point of our home. We combined them with a vintage pallet box, our fave engagement photo, and custom art pieces made by family and friends. The piece de resistance though, is a concert poster we picked up after a magical weekend this summer at Horning’s Hideout in North Plains. The Northwest String Summit was a bluegrass and folk music blast so we had to pay tribute!

Then, we added the final touches with a few great odds and ends to complete our reading nook. Such a cozy spot to have for reading, drinking tea, or contemplating our next weekend adventure.
